Objectives:

The overall objectives of the U.S. CTEPH Registry are:

To characterize the demographics and clinical course of WHO Group IV CTEPH
To chronicle short and long-term outcomes of pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (PTE) in patients with operable chronic thromboembolic disease
To identify pre-, peri-, and postoperative predictors of successful PTE
To evaluate outcomes and predictors of outcomes of nonsurgical therapy in patients with CTEPH
To collect pertinent data that will contribute to improvement in the diagnosis and treatment of CTEPH and will support relevant research endeavors
